About Me
I am a positive person and see the best in people and the things around me. I am a mother and enjoy cooking, the gym, time with friends and family and have a love for the beach. I have a very open mind and a non-judgmental approach to life. I appreciate humour, I see the joy in laughter and good conversation.
Before fully embarking upon my counselling journey, I have worked as a manager and as an early years teacher, alongside studying psychology for most of my adult life. I also took time out to have a family.
I have a Masters in Forensic Psychology, a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Psychology, a Foundation degree in counselling as well as Level 4 diploma in counselling.
In the past I have worked with clients who have brought things to therapy such as: addiction, disordered eating, depression, anger, anxiety, health anxiety, PTSD, sexual issues, kink, fertility, pregnancy related issues, self-harm, sexual abuse, domestic violence, social anxiety, health anxiety, academic concerns, divorce, OCD, feelings of sadness, loneliness, abandonment and attachment issues, identity, neurodivergence, suicidal feelings and more.
I specialise in working with sexual abuse and anxiety.
I offer individual sessions for teens and adults and relationship counselling online via zoom. I strive to be honest and empathic and provide an open and trusting space; through which clients can explore and achieve clarity, acceptance and make changes for the better, in their lives.
